A. Yes! Spray Tans provide many benefits on your big day such as:

• Airbrush Spray Tans are an anti aging treatment that helps keep your youthful appearance without skin and health damage from the harmful UV Rays from the sun.

A. In short, No!  Schedule your bridal air brush appointment 48 hours before your wedding. This will allow your glow to fully develop, first rinse, then take your first full shower to fully remove the top layer of cosmetic bronzer color. 

 That developed tan does not come off until the skin naturally turns over in 6 to 10+ days. However if you have tight bridle or built in bra, you may see a bit of transfer if there is rubbing or a lot of friction for a period of time on the skin. This is not typical, however it will  come out after dry cleaning of the garment.

*PRO TIP: Use light powder on areas you are concerned will rub or excessively sweat to protect from any friction transfer.

A. I know this is always everyone’s fear. At Aloha Glow I use ONLY the highest quality sunless tanning solutions that are derived from natural and mostly organic ingredients, and am a professionally trained, triple certified tanning technician.  Our first time meeting, we will go through a detailed skin consult to get to know you, your skin and desired glow. Feel free to have a photo of your natural sun or a sunless tan you liked and I will create a custom blended solution to match your desired glow!

A. With proper pre tan preparation and after care, you can expect your Bridal Airbrush Tan to last 6 - 10+ days.

A. If this is our first appointment together,  we go through a detailed skin consultation to determine your desired color, select the location to set up, spray tan, dry,  provide aftercare info and pack which takes approx 45 min. The Wedding Tan appointment will takes 30 minutes. 

A. No, you will be able to see them fully.

A.  Here are some tips to prepare for your Bridal Sunless Tan:

• Drink plenty of water the days leading up to your Bridal Spray Tan.

• Exfoliate the days leading up to, including the evening before, your appointment with an Aloha Glow Deep Exfoliating Mitt and moisturise your skin thoroughly with a water based moisturiser.

• Complete all of your other beauty services prior to your sunless tan (wax/shave, hair, nails, massages, etc).

• Shower at least 4 to 12 hours before your appointment.

• Have clean, dry skin at the time of your appointment. 

• Make sure you do NOT get a sunburn or extreme tan lines prior to your wedding.

A. We recommend you schedule your bridal sunless tan approx  2 or 3 days before your wedding for your ideal glow. For a Saturday Wedding, schedule your bridal tan on Wednesday orThursday.

A. Your fiancé’s track suit is always a great choice!  A dark loose long sleeved, long pants outfit is ideal! 

A. You should schedule your services in this order for optimal results:

• Trial Beauty Services including Spray tan: 2 - 4 weeks before the wedding

• Hair color and Extensions: 1 - 2 weeks before the wedding

• Waxing: 3 to 5 days before the wedding

• Eyelashes: 3 to 5 days before the wedding

• Nails: 3 - 4 days before the wedding

• Spray tan: 2 - 3 days before the wedding

• Makeup and hair: same day

Your Airbrush Sunless Tan should be THE LAST beauty service before your big day!

A.  Absolutely! We highly recommend a trial tan, especially if you have not had an Aloha Glow Sunless Tan before.  This allows us to have a detailed skin and color consultation to select your ideal bridal color. We will follow up for feedback two-three days after our appointment (which would be your "wedding day color". Based on your feedback, we can then duplicate your glow exactly or further customize your actual bridal tan to perfection.

We recommend you coordinate your trial sunless tan with another wedding related event such as your bridal shower, bachelorette party, makeup and hair trial, or final dress fitting.  By doing this, it allows you to put your entire bridal look together. The trial tan should be at minimum two weeks before your wedding.
